A tour of my new Blue Yeti mic setup that I am using for podcasting. I use this setup all the time and really love it. The shock mount and boom arm are fantastic and really help the flexibility of my workspace while I’m recording. Check it out and leave any questions in the comments. Here is a link to the latest episode of our War Thunder Podcast: Thunderbums where I use the entire setup so you can get a sense of how it sounds.

Thank you for the review of your setup! Too bad the Blue Microphones Yeti and Yeti Pro Custom Spider Shock Mount is no longer available. Any idea where I can get one?
I’m not sure. I haven’t checked in awhile. The only thing I can say is that I don’t recommend the blue shock mount. It’s terrible.
I’ve seen that in other reviews as well. Are there any other shockmounts that will fit the Blue Yeti? I found this one, but I am not sure. http://amzn.to/1H1gkI8
It looks like right now Amazon has the shock mount in stock. Not sure how long it will last so you might want to check it out if you haven’t already.
Hi Luke. Great video. But I am a bit confused – in your video you say you have a “standard spider mount” because the Blue shock mount broke. What mount is on the Yeti in the video? The above comments leads me to believe the Yeti Pro? Or is it another brand. When you said the blue mount is terrible did you mean structural quality or in practical use? Blue makes Yeti so it is a bit confusing. Thanks.
I am using the standard Blue Yeti mic, and am using a shock mount I found on amazon. I said it was bad because within an hour of use I had a bolt snap on my, also it’s very large and the current mount is much more practical. Here is the link for the shock mount. http://amzn.to/1zw3Hgx
